1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rehance ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

Rehance provides an AI-powered resume analysis and optimization service. Users may upload resume text, receive an ATS compatibility score, keyword analysis, and an AI-generated rewrite. The Service operates on a credit system — certain features consume credits from your account balance.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits and Payments

New accounts receive 5 free credits upon registration. Additional credits may be purchased in packs. The following applies to all credit purchases:

• Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law.
• Credits do not expire.
• Credits are non-transferable and tied to your account.
• Prices are listed in Philippine Peso (₱) and are subject to change with notice.
• We reserve the right to adjust credit costs for features at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
• Use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures.
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the resume content you upload. By using the Service, you grant Rehance a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your resume data and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.

The Rehance platform, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by Rehance and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content

The AI-generated resume rewrites and analysis provided by the Service are suggestions only. Rehance does not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job application. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before use. We are not liable for any outcome resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rehance and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are forfeited upon termination for cause.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
